Kristina Agustin
Kristina is a student at the University of Texas Cizik School of Nursing and is expected to graduate in May 2023. She has been a student tutor in elementary and middle school and is now a peer tutor at the School of Nursing in Child and Adolescent Care. She is one of the
select few students in Pediatric Capstone. She
graduated Magna Cum Laude in Lone Star –CyFair in 2022 and a CyFair President’s list in 2020. She is active in the Cizik School of Nursing Student Organization’s student blood drive, mental health through pet therapy, and t-shirt fundraising. She is a church Technical and Worship team member serving as pianist and backup singer and volunteering at the community's STOP the Bleed interprofessional simulation.

Jodie Ann Garibay
Jodi is a student at the University of Texas Cizik School of Nursing and is expected to graduate in Fall 2023. She is a peer mentor in the School of Nursing and one of the select students in the Memorial Hermann Scholar Program. She is a student representative to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and a member of the Filipino Student Association at the University of Houston. She participated in community Mass Casualty interprofessional simulation and Safety Awareness First Aid Emergency Response (SAFER) community event.

Antonia Lumanog
Toni Is a student at Texas Woman’s University School of Nursing class of 2023. One of her Clinical Instructors described Toni as hard-working,
compassionate, and highly dedicated with the ability to recognize areas of opportunity and turn them into
strengths. She received numerous honors and awards such as Lone Star CyFair President’s List, College Merit Scholar Award, Panelist International Education Week. She volunteers in Vietnamese American Nurses
Association (VANA), Houston Food Bank and Willow River Church Vacation Bible School program, Praise
and Worship Ministry, and children’s education Ministry. Toni participates as a guest speaker at Texas Women’s
University Nursing Students Association in promoting professionalism and leadership.

Anjiya Maknojia
Anjiya is a student at the University of Texas Cizik School of Nursing and is expected to graduate in May 2023.
She is a mentor of Freshman students at the school of nursing. She is the current Secretary of the National Alliance in Mental Health (NAMI) school chapter. She volunteered in flu shot vaccination at the Ismaili Community Center and as a food sorter in the Houston Food Bank warehouse

Denise Mayoral
Denise is a Chamberlain University student, graduating in August 2024. Her Associated Dean admires her work ethic, intelligence, and organizational skills. One instructor admires Denise’s dedication, perseverance, and compassion for the nursing profession. A member of the Student Nurse Association and the Student Government Association, she actively participates in volunteer opportunities in both organizations through donations of items for the women’s shelter, and books for a local library and does volunteer work as a researcher at two separate facilities.
Denise has a previous Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biochemistry and has worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the past.

Sophia Olalia
Sophia is a student of the University of Texas Cizik School of Nursing and is expected to graduate in May 2023. She is known in the school for her dedication as a peer tutor in Pathophysiology, Adult and Geriatric
care, Child and Adolescent, and High Acuity nursing care, supporting the academic success of her peers. She earned Dean’s list honors in the Summer and Fall of 2022. She scored 100 on the national standardized Pathophysiology examination. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Alvin Community College. She
is a natural leader in class and has mentored her Junior classmates. She actively volunteered in the interprofessional community Mass Casualty simulation and her High School marching band.
